Kickin' it old school

Mallorie is wearing one of my old gowns in these pictures.  We keep all of these at my Mom's house and so when we are over there and it's close to bedtime, we put her in one of these precious gowns so she will be all ready for bed when we get home. She obviously thought she needed to play some more before bed!

 

Another Swim & Waving

 Today Mallorie started really waving when you say hi.  It is the cutest thing in the world.  We also had to go on another swim today.  She seemed to play a little more this time.

Dinner

Mallorie has started sitting in her high chair during meals now while we eat.  She seems to really enjoy getting to have her own food and sit like a big girl.  She pretty much refuses to eat real baby food anymore, so we are moving on to finger foods which she thoroughly enjoys! How in the world can my little baby be big enough to do this now?!?!?

Her First Swim

Mallorie went swimming for the first time today.  She loved it!

A Fun Day

Tuesday afternoon, Mallorie and I met my Mom at her house after she got off work and we headed to Target.   I just needed to pick up a couple of things and had no intention of buying something fun for myself...but, when you're not looking is when you find the best stuff, right?!  I got new bathroom stuff and I love it.  We were having so much fun shopping around and then Nathan showed up at Target to surprise us when he got off work too.  I love surprises!  Then, Mom, Cindy, Mallorie, and myself all went to eat.  Mallorie sat in a highchair for the first time and ate some crackers and we just had the best time visiting.  She was such a big girl and had a blast!

9 Month Stats

Mallorie had her well check-up today and she did great!

9 Months Old!

 

My precious Mallorie turned 9 months old yesterday! The past 9 months have been such a wonderful blessing in my life. Mallorie is the sweetest, cutest, and funniest thing ever.

A little bit about my baby girl...

-she has pulled herself up to a sitting position twice now

-yesterday she pulled up on me and Nathan to a standing position

-jabbering up a storm... "Da da da is her favorite thing to say right now."

-loves to "pat pat pat" and clap her little hands together

-has 4 bottom teeth!

-wears 12-18 month clothing, some 9 months still fit, but are getting quite snug

-size 3 diaper

-loves to be in my arms and turn around for a quick hug while she plays...it's so sweet!

- this month I let Mallorie try potatoes from the table and she had a Ritz cracker and loved it!

I can't believe my baby is turning into such a big girl!

Oh how I love my sweet Mallorie Kate!
