35 Weeks!

  • This week Mallorie is 17.2 to 18.7 inches and about 4.2 to 5.8 pounds (about the size of a coconut).
  • Her nursery is about 90% ready - we are waiting for the recyliner to finish getting recovered and then we need to hang two picture frames.
  • I have washed all of her newborn clothes and went ahead and washed some of her bigger clothes last night.
  • Sleep has been hit or miss.  One night I will sleep fantastic and then the next night I don't feel like I sleep at all.
  • Lots of Braxton Hicks contractions.
  • Overall feeling great! I am very thankful for this.
  • On the agenda: Maternity pictures next Monday and then to the doctor on Thursday.  We will start weekly appointments then-Wow-talk about it becoming real!
  • Thoughts: I can't believe in 5 short weeks I will be holding my baby!

It's Here!!!

Well as I said earlier in the week something very exciting was going to happen today......Mallorie's furniture is here!!! Her crib has been here for about 3 months and now she has somewhere to put her clothes!

Just in case Lauri gets internet access I want her to see some pictures from today.  There were so many cute ones I had a hard time choosing.  I could just eat these boys up.  They are the sweetest, most loveable kids ever!

I've finally learned how to get prompted kisses from Remi.   You just tell him he better not wipe off your kisses or that you are going to wipe off his and you can get a million kisses this way.  I love it! This is us playing that game.

Can you spot Remi?

Here he is!

Roen decided he wanted to attempt the stairs today.  We were trying to get Remi to teach him how to go down backwards...but, as you can tell it was way more fun just to go this way!

Can't go to Aunt Whit's house without getting out an XBOX! Lauri will be so proud.lol

Remi loved carrying around this portable stereo yelling loudly into the microphone where you could hear him anywhere in the house.

You leave boys alone for two seconds and this is what happens!  They were having too much fun.

Sweet Roen just hanging out content as he can be.

I forgot to put this picture up yesterday.  So, yesterday morning Mom was going to unload the boys' suitcase and put their clothes in a drawer.  Well, both boys just sat on the suitcase and then preceded to get every piece of clothing out and throw it around like crazy in the room.  Thank goodness Mom left it out until I got there to see!  Grandma's house is just way to much fun!!!

Week 34 and Visitors!

I am 34 weeks today and feeling good. I think Mallorie got the hiccups for the first time yesterday and Mom finally got to feel her move. It was very neat. Also, Remi and Roen are staying with us for about 2 weeks and we couldn't be more excited! Here are some pictures from this afternoon!

First thing Remi did when we got to CiCi's house was get the toy bucket and carry it to the living room.  Then, he had to go through the bathroom drawers and pull out all the fun stuff.
Who's the loudest?  I know!!!

We rode on the tricycle and played chase.

Time for a water break with Anne.

We even had to play in the water a little bit! At first Remi did not like it, and then he kept saying, "CiCi, get me wet!"

Nursery Update!

Well here we are about 6 weeks out from our baby girl being here, and Saturday we changed our minds and decided we did want to paint.  So, off to Lowes it was that night.  Thankfully my sweet mom was willing to come paint. Her room was a cream color and now it's pink! Here are some before and after pictures.  Mallorie is also getting a present delivered on Friday, so stay tuned for pictures!!! I can't wait!  Thank you Mom, you are wonderful and I love you to pieces!

33 weeks!

I can't believe we are only 7 weeks out. This week we have been getting the house organized. Her nursery is still not done, but I think everything in the rest of the house has its spot. Which makes me very happy! I went to the doctor yesterday and everything with Mallorie looked good. I was a little nervous that she was not moving as much as she should, so they went ahead and did a stress test and immediately she showed that she was fine. Thank goodness! I gained 3 more lbs and will go back to the doctor July 5th and then will go every week after that. I think at that point it is going to be eye opening of "Oh my goodness, she could come at any moment!" Nathan and I had our caring for your newborn class last night, so we are officially done with classes! Woo-hoo! My wedding ring no longer fits comfortably (I'm sad I have to take it off---but, my fingers appreciate it). My face is starting to look puffy as you will notice in pictures, but no super crazy swelling yet, so that is good. I just can't wait to put my arms around this baby! Roxi also got groomed today and I wanted a picture with her.  She just looks beautiful!

32 Weeks!

Wow!  It's getting here fast.  Only 8 more weeks until I can meet my baby girl!  Nathan and I had our last childbirth class last night and tonight I went to a breastfeeding class.  Next week we go to a caring for your newborn class.  I guess we're almost done with the before the baby training and will be ready for the on the job training.
